The definition of subtitle

Subtitle is aimed to help people understand movies or videos. Such as some people can't hear, but they can see subtitle to enjoy videos; some people who don't know the language that characters are speaking, subtitle can translate.
What is 'forced subtitles' on Blu-ray disc?
Unlike DVD, on Blu-ray disc, each subtitle item has an attribute that specified whether particular subtitle appearance should be forced. Forced subtitles are shown regardless of current player setting, typically when a movie contains a foreign language scene.
